The Carnival “coplas” or “coplillas” are songs that have been sung in Cebreros for many years and most of them refer to people or events that happened in Cebreros years ago and neighbors have turned them into songs. Some of these songs allude in their lyrics to the festive moment of the Carnival and others do not have any type of connection. They were often accompanied by instruments such as the triangle or an anise bottle. Currently, although they can be heard anywhere during Carnival, they are usually sung in parades, especially on Monday and on Tuesday, when local people enjoy the party.
